Industrial Pond Evaporation Systems That Deliver Results

Managing industrial wastewater ponds remains one of the most persistent challenges across mining, oil and gas, municipal, chemical, and manufacturing sectors. Retention ponds, tailings ponds, and evaporation basins accumulate massive volumes of process water that must be dealt with efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with increasingly stringent environmental regulations. At Evaporation King, we have engineered a fundamentally better approach to pond evaporation, leveraging our proprietary atomization technology to dramatically accelerate the natural evaporation process. Our Gladiator series enhanced evaporation equipment is purpose-built for these demanding environments, and we are proud to say that every unit is designed and manufactured in the USA.

Traditional passive evaporation ponds rely entirely on ambient conditions like temperature, humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation. In arid climates, natural evaporation rates might reach 60 to 80 inches per year, but in more humid or temperate regions, those numbers drop significantly. This creates a backlog of wastewater that grows faster than nature can eliminate it, forcing operators to expand pond footprints, truck water offsite, or invest in expensive thermal or membrane treatment systems. Our industrial pond evaporation systems change that equation entirely by fracturing water into an ultra-fine water vapor that exposes exponentially more surface area to atmospheric conditions, multiplying evaporation rates well beyond what passive methods can achieve.

“Our industrial pond evaporation systems change that equation entirely — multiplying evaporation rates well beyond what passive methods can achieve.”

How Our Atomization Technology Works

The core of our system lies in a proprietary high-speed atomization process that operates at RPMs no other system on the market can match while handling the challenging liquids found in industrial wastewater. We are the only atomization system capable of sustaining these rotational speeds while processing fluids with total dissolved solids concentrations ranging from 250,000 to 300,000 TDS. This capability is critical because most industrial pond water carries extremely high mineral loads, salts, and other dissolved constituents that would clog, corrode, or destroy conventional spray or water vaporing equipment within days.

The droplet spectra produced by our Gladiator equipment is precisely engineered to maximize hang time in the air column. By creating a water vapor composed of extremely small droplets, we ensure that evaporation occurs rapidly and efficiently before any liquid returns to the pond surface. The way that we fracture the water is very cost-effective compared to thermal evaporation or mechanical vapor compression systems that consume enormous amounts of energy. Facilities throughout the United States & globally have found that deploying our systems alongside existing pond infrastructure transforms their wastewater management capabilities without requiring major capital construction projects.

The Difference
300K TDS — the highest tolerance of any atomization system on the market
Most conventional spray systems fail above 50,000 TDS. Our equipment handles six times that concentration without clogging, corrosion, or mechanical failure.

Applications Across Multiple Industries

As a U.S. Florida, Arizona, and Colorado based designer, manufacturer, and global distributor, Evaporation King serves an exceptionally diverse range of industrial verticals. Our equipment addresses wastewater challenges in mining, energy, food and beverage, bio and pharma, textile, and waste management industries. Each of these sectors produces process wastewater with unique characteristics, and our engineering team has developed various models for both high and lower-volume applications to match specific operational requirements. More details on our flagship unit can be found on the Gladiator 120 product page.

Mining operations
Use our systems to manage tailings pond water laden with heavy metals and dissolved minerals that make conventional treatment prohibitively expensive.
Oil and gas producers
Deploy our equipment for produced water evaporation at well sites and centralized disposal facilities where trucking costs can exceed the value of the resource being extracted.
Municipal wastewater facilities
Integrate our technology to supplement lagoon systems during peak flow periods or to manage leachate from adjacent landfill operations.
Chemical and pharmaceutical plants
Rely on our systems to reduce volumes of high-TDS process water that cannot be discharged to public sewer systems.
Food and beverage processors
Utilize our equipment to handle wash water and brine waste streams that would otherwise require expensive hauling contracts.

Efficiency, Maintenance, and Distribution

We offer the most efficient equipment with the least amount of maintenance in the enhanced evaporation category. The water vapor that our systems create solves all of the pain points that operators experience with competing technologies, including nozzle clogging, excessive power consumption, frequent component replacement, and inability to handle high-solids fluids. Our engineering philosophy centers on rugged simplicity, ensuring that units deployed in remote mining sites or offshore energy platforms perform reliably with minimal intervention.

“Rugged simplicity — units deployed in remote mining sites or offshore energy platforms perform reliably with minimal intervention.”

We distribute our equipment through an international network of independent dealers, strategic partners, and distributors who provide local support, installation guidance, and ongoing service. This global reach means that whether your facility operates domestically or internationally, you have access to our technology and the expertise needed to implement it effectively. Wastewater Solved is not just a tagline for us. It represents our commitment to eliminating industrial wastewater challenges through innovation, performance, and relentless engineering excellence.
