How the 80 fits the lineup
Applications Across Industries
The Gladiator 80 serves a wide range of industries and use cases. Evaporation King produces various models for high and lower-volume applications, and the Gladiator 80 specifically targets operations that need substantial throughput. In Mining, it handles tailings pond management and process water reduction. In Oil and Gas, it addresses produced water and flowback fluid challenges. Municipal operators deploy it for landfill leachate and treatment plant residuals. Facilities throughout the United States & globally have recognized the growing need for efficient wastewater volume reduction.

Beyond these core verticals, we serve the Food and Beverage, Bio and Pharma, Textile, and Waste Management industries. Each sector presents unique wastewater compositions, and the Gladiator 80’s ability to handle extreme TDS levels makes it versatile across all of them. From concentrating waste streams to eliminating the need for offsite hauling, the applications are extensive and growing as disposal regulations tighten nationwide.

Engineered
for Performance.
Choosing the right evaporation equipment requires evaluating performance, reliability, and total cost of ownership. The Gladiator 80 excels in every category. We offer the most efficient equipment with the least amount of maintenance, which translates directly to lower operating costs and higher uptime for facility operators.
Capable of processing wastewater with 250,000 to 300,000 TDS without fouling or performance degradation.
Creates optimal droplet spectra for maximum evaporation efficiency — no competing system operates at our RPMs while handling complex industrial liquids.
Fewer moving parts, robust construction, and intuitive controls reduce downtime and long-term operational expenses significantly.
Designed and manufactured in the USA to withstand harsh operating environments including extreme temperatures and corrosive atmospheres.
Eliminates the need for expensive disposal alternatives like trucking and deep well injection — turning a cost center into a solved problem.
Reinforced cross-arm positions four EK-1000 atomizer motors for maximum evaporation coverage across the pond surface.
Four independent EK-1000 motors at 18,000 RPM. Each operates independently for uninterrupted evaporation during servicing.
Heavy-duty fixed mast. Engineered for stability in high-wind environments and continuous operation at full output.
Variable speed control — adjustable output to match site conditions. WDC weather automation add-on available.
Submersible intake draws directly from the wastewater source. Floating or land-based frame deployment available.
Walk-on non-slip grade float. Self-levels on the water surface. No anchoring or civil construction required.

How the Gladiator
80 Works.
The Gladiator 80 utilizes our proprietary atomization technology to fracture wastewater into an ultra-fine mist, dramatically increasing the surface area of the liquid exposed to ambient air. This process accelerates natural evaporation far beyond what conventional methods can achieve. The way that we fracture the water is very cost-effective, allowing operators to reduce wastewater volumes without relying on expensive trucking, deep well injection, or energy-intensive thermal systems.

What truly sets the Gladiator 80 apart is the atomization system at its core. We are the only atomization system that can achieve the RPMs we operate at while still handling the challenging liquids that industrial facilities produce. The droplet spectra our equipment generates can handle the highest dissolved solids concentrations in the industry, managing fluids with 250,000 to 300,000 TDS. This capability means the Gladiator 80 thrives where other evaporation systems fail, particularly with brines, produced water, and heavily contaminated process streams. The mist that our technology creates solves all of the pain points that operators face with conventional wastewater disposal.
